Festival makeup ideas

Concert season is here and right now we have combined some festival worthy makeup looks that will help you glitter this summer.

JEWELS

When I think of jewels I immediaty think COACHELLA I also think of the queen of coachella herself Vannessa Hudgens who is no stranger to the jewel brow crown.Jewels are such a great touch to add to any make up look and while wearing them day to day is not advised these fake jewels are perfect for the festival season. Start by picking up a packet of the face gems they should be available in most high street shops and they are certainly online especially at this time of the year. Shops that they are available in are Pennys, Claires and H&M also they are available online on ASOS, Pretty Little Thing and Boohoo. You will also need skin friendly glue I use eyelash glue and a pair of tweezers. Start with a clean face and also be aware that the type of foundation you use may affect the durability of the gems. Put a small bit of glue on the desired area be careful not to add too much as you dont want the edges of the jewel to be oozing with glue when you stick them on.

to apply

simply pick up the gem with the tweezers are gently place them on the face. There are many different parts of the face to apply them too, above the brows, on the cheeks under the eye etc its up to you!

Glitter eye makeup

Glitter eye makeup is a great way to take you're eye makeup look up a notch this season. Instead of going for your usual shimmer on the lids why not make it pop?

You can find glitter on the shelves of make up and high street stores across the country, Lately I have been loving the Pennys gold glitter. Glitter glue is in my opinion essential it helps stick the glitter on the lid to ensure that its not going ANYWHERE below is one of my favorite glitter tutorials..

Center lip paint

Kim K inspired this trend back in 2017 and the trend is still going strong giving the appearance of a fake lip piercing and generally fuller plumper lips. My favorite way to wear it is to use a dark lipstick like dark purple or pink and then simply paint a whit line down the center of the lower lip using a white liner pencil.
